Volunteer With Emerald PTO
Volunteering is one of the best ways to get to know Emerald Elementary, the teachers, staff, students, and other families. We’re always looking for parents (and grandparents!) who can help lead programs and activities, as well as those who want to lend a hand when they can. Evergreen Public Schools requires all volunteers to have a current background check.
All volunteers must complete a profile in the system before volunteering, and background checks are mandatory. These are automatically renewed every two years. Even if you don’t plan to volunteer regularly, it’s a good idea to set up your profile at the start of the year. That way, if you decide to help with a class field trip or party, you’ll already be cleared and ready to go.
