Emerald Elementary Needs Volunteers!

Whether your contribution is big or small, your involvement enriches our school and helps build meaningful opportunities for every student.

Volunteer With Emerald PTO

Volunteering is one of the best ways to get to know Emerald Elementary, the teachers, staff, students, and other families. We’re always looking for parents (and grandparents!) who can help lead programs and activities, as well as those who want to lend a hand when they can. Whether you can give a little time or take on a bigger role, your involvement strengthens our school community. For questions or to see current volunteer opportunities, email emeraldpto.wa@gmail.com.

Missoula Children's Theater

Missoula Children’s Theatre is coming to Emerald Elementary! In just one week, their team will guide our students through rehearsals to create a production of Alice in Wonderland. The week ends with two special performances starring our very own Emerald students.

Fun Run

Our biggest fundraiser of the year! Students gather pledges from family and friends, then run laps around the track to raise money for classroom projects, events, and school programs. It’s a day full of energy, school spirit, and community support.

Evergreen Public Schools requires all volunteers to have a current background check.

All volunteers must complete a profile in the system before volunteering, and background checks are mandatory. These are automatically renewed every two years. Even if you don’t plan to volunteer regularly, it’s a good idea to set up your profile at the start of the year. That way, if you decide to help with a class field trip or party, you’ll already be cleared and ready to go.
